The instruction sheet you posted made sense to me and I realized what the issue was, but that’s because I was just going down that road he was on!
now you can start tuning and watch that tuning video again!
Exactly what I’m trying to say, just don’t know if it made sense the way I said it.
I could make a video of what it should look like but my servo horn is different, however throttle and brake should be the same concept
I didn’t see that at first, I think you still just need to adjust your throttle linkage. The throttle should be closed at the servos neutral point. Should be a matter of screwing in the link rod into the ballcup thingy or adjust stop collars
The stop collar on the backside of your horn can be...
I think you need to pull the servo horn off, let the servo sit powered up at its neutral position then reattach the horn. You may need to adjust the linkage. I had one hell of a time with all of this on my Xtm, as it is my first nitro. Good luck
Just ignore that third needle on his particular carb, unless you have one just like it. Main thing to get here is set your idle gap to a known dimension, so you can eliminate that from the tuning equation.
He just needs some guidance, I never had a manual for my Xtm. I just did my research. But that video I watched was solid advice for anyone, beginner or experienced.
watch the entire thing
You need to also set your idle gap. Invisible speed on YouTube, you’ll be a pro in no time, but do watch the hour long video it will save you time dicking around in the long run
