I get why people do it but that doesn't mean that doesn't really negate what WF was saying about it not being good for your prints or your gantry imho.

I upgraded my v2 with the Marlin firmware from TH3D a few months back and it is markedly better. I'm about to set up a BLT on my S5 and see how that works and octoprint is on my to do list :)

Which Ender 3 did you get?

Not being a machinist I didnt understand any of what I was doing in the beginning. Kept getting failed print after failed print. If it hadnt been for WF teaching me Id have pitched that first one. Now I can make them print I just need to learn how to 3d model now.

That is no joke. I almost threw my first one in the trash I got so frustrated with it in the beginning.
