    Yeah should be fine just to get it running. Regarding the battery c thing, I don't specialize in that area but @WickedFog and @bill_delong does.

    I personally don't like to run adapters as it adds heat and resistance. I prefer direct connection. If you want to use them long term, it would be best to solder a Traxxas plug on the ESC.
