What sucks more is the guy flipped out and hired my friend to cut it now and skipped out on the 3 cuts owed.
Pulled my stampede out. Failed landing on the truck dock in the cold broke a rod end, rear arm on the front, and cracked the bulk head.
Also broke a pin in the tranny and found neutral.
Its life. Until I can afford the new part, I have a split shaft Echo pas 265, straight Echo edger and a Stihl fc55 plus 5 or so weedeaters I can edge with.
Looking back, its edged yards that havent been touched in 3-5 years. I took it to work a few times and made it sweat slightly.
The first three words I thought we were going another route. 🤣
Sorry to hear that. I thought about tossing mine a few times, of course I'm so new to it I'm at village idiot level.
They make lockers which would break something else. I think all the aftermarket non sealed diffs use stock internals.
On my trx mini, I would cherry red the ring and pinion then dip it in water or oil. The only thing better then that to harden steel is to use extreme cold. My freezer can't go...
Castles 2280kv is no joke. I just sheared 3 bolts on my rear end. On the plus side she was laying rubber on the 2 mile drive today.
Pic included was yesterday playing in an undeveloped sinkhole, given the areas history I was in.
