    Yes, I would Def not recommend poking at a spinning flywheel with ANYTHING! Controlled pressure on the outside of the disc is the way to go. Here is that pic btw...

    It will cause some damage over time. Steel on aluminum will tend to do that. Flywheels are way cheaper than engines tho! ;)
