Interesting. I don't have an E-Revo, and my Summit came with a brushed motor setup, but it didn't have that sleeve.

Hmm, none of my Traxxas motors have a sleeve on the motor shaft... and it isn't shown in their parts diagram... any chance that's somebodies home remedy for positioning the pinion? I guess the E-Revo is discontinued since it's no longer in Traxxas' 'Model Showroom' on their website.
