    there are plenty of brushed esc on the market that will run that motor in that truck .now for battery id stay away from the 3 cell lipo mentioned above and go with a 2 cell lipo you will have to change the pinion gear up 2 or 3 teeth to get the speed of a 6 cell nimh..the so called battery guru...
