ok, price drop, now $475 shipped to US. I think this is a pretty good deal, when you realize that tower has this truck at $365 and radio at $179. and then you have to figure shipping. also, this truck was meticulously built, using a digital caliper to ensure the tie rods and suspension pieces...
that price is negotiable. and comes with a full set of team associated hex drivers and socket drivers. the full aluminum ones. this is a getting out of r/c, probably forever, sale. some things have come up. So, make me an offer!
Also, a IR temp gun and exhaust stopper
all of this included...

If you want to stay at a reasonably priced 1/10 scale truck for just bashing around (not racing), the Hpi nitro mt2 is very good, I hear. I had a first generation nitro mt and it was pretty fun and somewhat durable
most 6v batteries I have found on the net have 4 1.5v F style batteries in them. Notice, when he dumps those 32aa batteries, there are no wires connection some in series to make 6 volts, and some in parallel to produce more mah's?
i don't know.
Looks nice, but I have the dual SS brakes on my Savage X (kit came with them), and they are plenty strong. They modulate decent, and I am able to do one wheel pirouettes if I stop and turn the wheel.
But these look even better.
I used Windows Movie Maker a few times, but it kept crashing when I tried to render video from my minidv camcorder. Ok, this is not a free program by any means, but I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio. If you get into editing and decide you really like it, the $100 for the Vegas Studio is well worth...
I am also not getting hardly any turning when the truck sits on a tile floor (stopped, and moving steering left or right). I have the bell crank steering on it, as the SS comes with, the adjustment collar is at 4 mm per the manual. My steering servo is hitec hs-5645MG, so plenty of torque...
Well, I had my new savage out a couple weeks ago, still trying to break it in. I found the high speed needle was near impossible to turn, so I removed it, seeing if maybe some gunk was in there. Turns out the o-ring was split and binding between the plastic holder and the needle seat. I called...
wish I could have gotten more, but oh well. this thing has been on the market for a long time now, and have had no offers at all, except parting it out, or trading it.
