Sag is very important, your suspension should be able to go down, just as well as go up, to drop into holes and suck up bumps. I set up my buggy so that when i set it down, the front suspension arms are level, and the rear dogbones are level. That sets it perfect, some people may think this is...
The best buggy is definitely mbx-4 xr works. Way more durable than a kyosho. My buggy hasn't broken a part yet. It has overall the most technology in its design, and its shows on the racetrack.
I'm looking to get rid of my mbx-4 due to money needs for a real car. It is a mugen mbx-4 XR WORKS kit, with all the goodies.
-Mbx-4 XR buggy
-Picco o-1 comp motor(1 and 1/2 gallons, great compression, always run very rich and taken great care of)
-RB concepts 086 1 piece polished pipe(top...
Depends, your buggy will be running much faster. There is no ideal suspension setup so that should only be changed if you feel it needs to be. The only thing you might encounter are drivetrain problems. First, what buggy are you running and what modifications do you have done to it?
GET THAT THING OUTA THERE!!!!!! A carb restrictor is reducing your horespower by restricting fuel and air flow. You pull it, and you wil have to retune your engine drastically, but it will add a lot of performance. Also you don't have to worry about it overheating unless you run it to lean. Just...
The ofna .25 would not be a good engine for racing because it is not legal for racing. You can also get more power with a picco or rossi mill. I think the fantom is gonna be one to watch when it comes out. I have heard many good things about the .15, and if its anything like that it'll be fast.
If you are reffering to the mugen mt12, it is a very good engine. It is a nova rossie built mill, and it is very comparable to the rb. I have expierience with that engine running in an rc10gt, and it was the fastest truck on the track, Mind you it was racing with nova rossis, os cv-r's, and...
15 to 20 laps is mandatory for a buggy to run, AT LEAST. A-mains are 30 to 60 minutes, and your car needs to run for that long without problems. The only cars that can do that are mugens and kyosho. I have owned ofna and have expierence with GS, and in my opinion, neither of them cut it. My...
When your running 10 cells, you aren't worried about getting a little bit more voltage out of them. And I have seen a tc3, 4wd, running a brushless motor and 10 cells(in parallel) clocked at 83 mph. It was a VERY fast car. Think about it, for the money, you can put in 10 cells in series, and a a...
the sport also does not have countersunk holes iun the chassis, a plastic spur gear, and the shocks are not as good. Also the plastic is not as high quality.
