at 3/4in bigger i dont think they would fit under the body. the slash is tight as it is.
good catch!
i dont mind changing to 17mm if i need to, that should be an upgrade in general. how much width do they add though?
Almost everything seems to be in good working order mechanically, and in good shape visually. I think its been sitting for quite a while, because the engine was locked up. I lubed it up and got it moving freely. it seems to still have some pinch to it. the carb is locked up thought and I can't...
Talk to me Woodie, what do you think its worth?
I will give you the list of what i know is bad, and good.
bad:
the body obviously is rough, but its not the original white one.
it looks like the exhaust manifold broke at some point and they added another coupler to make it work.
the carb is...
I have this nitro monnster truck, and I'm wondering what its worth.
I THINK its a vintage kyosho nitro usa-1 crusher, but I'm not 100% on that.

would it be worth an aluminum mount and plate as well? I dont want to build it like Rolex's Savage, but those seem to be key parts that could be stronger, plus the aluminum would dissipate heat faster.
The sinks that have a fan, is there a spot on the ESC to plug that in, or is it something ill have to wire in myself? I dont have the truck with me.. lol
I have an older brushless slash 4x4 (i say older because i dont know if they have had any updates or changes) and i just picked up a 4000mah 45c 3s pack for it. the thing rips!
I blasted it around yesterday testing out the new found freedom, and when i was done (not even one battery worth) the...
Thanks guys for the warm wishes. good to see you guys still care!
Been pretty good around here. Engaged now, working on the house, and jeep is life. I still have a slash and a stampede, but they dont see much love.
this is where all my play funds go
it is kinda rough, but its worth a try to see if you can get it sealed up. if not, you will have to get a new sleeve and piston.
if it had a shim on it, it needs to go back on.
yes. the engine is basically just an air pump. the sleeve looks a little mared up, but not terrible. i would put it back together with the procedure i listed, and see what happens.
also be sure to use blue locktight on the head screws.
welcome.
first up, one thread is enough, someone will come along soon enough to help.
now to your issue. there are 4 screws down inside the cooling head on the engine. those need to be tight. but they also need to be tightened down a certain way. so lets start with taking those off, and...
