yeah i thought about the holes. I will take my chances for now. I'm just going to leave them on there until i sell my books back here at OSU. That should free up about $250 bucks. Then its fail safe, tuned pipe and rpm skids.
Broke another front skid plate...Its the 3rd one...So this evening after the my cowboys squeeked by St. Joes to get to the final four, I decided to find a way to fix my skid plate. I only broke the front part so the four bolts into the Bulk head are still intact. I used the metal braces that...
yeah i figured it was a little high...it was more expensive the traxxas top fuel....it seems to be running good. Today its 78 degrees in Stillwater and i was wondering do i lean it or richen it when the temp goes up?
I bought more fuel this weekend and I went with O'Donnell 20%...the guy at the hobby shop said it was good stuff, But of course he would it was 27.50 a gallon. Anyone heard of it and is it good?
its not that easy...i put a 70 tooth on from the stock 72 and thought i had a good mesh...three times up the street and back and i had chewed it up. I put the 72 tooth on and no problems.
sorry that was last weekend...broke rear turnbuckle and upper A...its about time everything is going right

thats good stuff...I made the joke when deciding our ring bearer that i could just drive it up the isle with the ring on the hood. But that went about as far as when I told her I was playing golf the morning of the wedding...she didnt go for that either.
glitching can occur when the glow starter touches the engine head...but that is only in my dads buggy. Just something to back up the metal on metal statement.
My fiance thinks I'm retarded for buying my maxx...but then I let her drive it and she seems to drop the issue until a spend more money on it. This is her quote:" we are getting ready to go on a honeymoon and your dumb ass spends 400 on a stupid toy"...What does she know!
I had the tranny out when i changed the spur gear so that is how i got to it. I didnt think I had to do anything to the engine to change the spur gear.
mine still makes the same noise. It seems to run good though so maybe there is not that big of a problem. It also doesn't spin that freely. Have you actually drove it since the problem? If you chew up the spur then you know you have a problem. Also what tooth spur gear do you have on it?
What kind of binding would be helpful. I had the same problem when i installed my two speed in my s-maxx. I just took it apart and put it all back together and that seemed to fix it. I had something tweeked somewhere. That could be your problem but it sounds like you have went through it...
