Don't let me make a costly mistake

Has been running great. I got the 21 engine, sounds different to what I an used to but goes hard. That picture was the buggy straight out of the box. I did the full set up, put the decals on and changed the remote/receiver to my spektrum after taking that picture.

    SUPER Frustrated

Why is it, that whenever I buy a new rc buggy or car, It rains for weeks and whenever I buy a drone or helicopter it blows a gale for weeks. AAARRRHH.

Has anyone ever used one of these (tower pro voltage meter)

I ordered the other type like the on in the original post, still waiting to see them. The ones you got look good but I like the one I have because I can read it as the buggy drives by. I would like to try the one you have on my toy quad copter.

Help! Engine won't start - I think I know the problem.

of course you would have checked that the oil didn't burn out the glow plug.

Looking for a very hard to find manual

Hahaha. Must be some sort of auto correct for rude words. His name is Richard Johnson but everyone here knows him by the abbreviated version of the name that starts with D. Not the mad max car, that was a ford coup. This car is from the 1981 Bathurst 1000 race. The biggest touring car race here...

Has anyone ever used one of these (tower pro voltage meter)

I think I will wire it up on the battery wire past the on/off switch. Might be safer that way. I don't have to put it in the receiver Just because it fits in there.

Has anyone ever used one of these (tower pro voltage meter)

Cool, as long as there is no issue with killing the receiver I will use it. Cheers..

Has anyone ever used one of these (tower pro voltage meter)

I came across this and on paper looks like a good idea. I was wondering if it would damage my receiver when plugged into an auxiliary port. Has anyone used one of these? Is it worth plugging in?

Looking for a very hard to find manual

Has anyone got or know where I can get a manual for a ecx rc car 1:10 Nitro Powered peepee Johnson Racing Ford XD Falcon, Johnson - French 1981 Bathurst Winners. I got the car second hand as I am a fan of the car and driver. I remember watching the race live. If you saw it, it ended with a massive...

    my next nitro car

It all depends on budget. You can get an awesome buggy for $1500 but not many people have that $$$ or need that type of quality. I can afford $300 - $500 so I got a Hyper SS for around $430 and love it. Aussie dollars. I defiantly prefer buggies though but everyone has there opinion on what's best.

Off to the lhs tomorrow. I told them what happened and they took pity on me and said they would give me a huge $8.00 off a replacement engine. The piston and sleeve costing $40 less than a new engine. Plus the bearings have been exposed to sand. My lhs is so understanding.

Always use zip ties. It just popped off. You know in the back of your head you think "that sounds like" but then ignore it. Nice jump through.

It runs surprisingly but has next to no compression. I like the look of the pipe clamps. will have to do that on all my cars!

30+ years of mucking around with nitro and I do this! Just finished running in a new engine. Did a jump and noticed a slight change in the sound of the engine. Did nothing and kept bashing. The sound change was caused bi the air cleaner popping off. Sucked in a beach worth of sand and dust...

    stalling on throttle

Your high speed needle could be set too rich and your low speed needle too lean but it is hard to tell without more info.

Selecting the correct glow plug to suit these conditions

3 or 4 is good here but I am on the south coast of NSW. Doesn't get that warm here for a while. Does it get humid where you are.
