I am lead to believe the rotary carb is a bit dated and not as good as the slide carb. The OS in the link above has a slide carb and a threaded crankshaft.

I've been researching for a little while now, the stocker was a .15, rotary carb.

brand new gallon, not sure if the engine is properly sealed, and it has had 8 tanks through it. It's pretty new.

No exageration(sp?), it reached 400 once. I've tried everything. I'm going to go back to factory settings and trying again. The temp monitor isn't too far off i don't think, by the time it reads 300+, the cylinder head is steaming with smoke.

Besides heating up to about 370 degrees Ferenhiet(sp?), I am pleased with the power the 3.3 puts out. Puts my truck on its lid with ease.

I'm moving out of my parent's home. I don't run my RC's anymore so I'm selling all of it on Ebay in a couple of weeks. Also, where I'm moving we wont have a computer. Besides, I don't come on here much at all anymore. It was very fun though.
