The custom chassis that I made is ali - aka aluminum. The one I bought is cf aka carbon fiber.
I only bought the cf because of the deal the guy made me. It was a really cheap price.

I saw that - if I went that route I think I would be best off not getting a RS4 kit and just assemble it from after market parts. Looks like I would throw away most of the kit getting that.

Mine was missing the glow plug and it had the .25 - I loosened the glow plug until I got it started and then started it myself and then tight the glow plug back. Now I have an HPI roto start and it makes my life a lot easier.

Like on my TC3 mostly use 48 pitch pinions and spurs. I think I understand what it all means but need to be sure.
