    upgrade!

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXEYG2&P=ML very small and perfect for a touring car. **EDIT** I also forgot to add that the failsafe will also activate when there is radio interference, another cause of runaways.

    upgrade!

You should check all servo wiring and make sure that none of them are damaged in any way. Also,as nitrogator has suggested you should invest in a Fail-safe Unit. Not only will a failsafe return the throttle/brake servo back to its set position if you go out of range, but also if it detects that...

    Braided Fuel Line

The seller also supplies heat shrink wrap to put over the edges. The one that saw when looking is just a sleeve that goes over your regular fuel line and then you heat shrink wrap the ends. Is that the same one you guys are looking at?

    De-anodizing and Polishing Aluminum

This happened to me also while trying to do my HPI RS4 chassis. I also tried leaving it over night with no luck. The next morning i bought a can of Easy-Off and used a technique read up here. That being, that you apply the Easy-Off and wash it off about 5-7 seconds after. Since you dont know how...

    Sold / Found T-Maxx 2.5R

Hi I'm very interested in buying this tmaxx. I have a few questions about the truck. What % fuel did you run it with? Can you give an estimate on the how long you've had it (months-years) ? and under "the bad" you say "a few little quirks and so on" Can you give a little bit more info about these...

roll cage for my on road

I also had an idea of making a roll cage for my rs4 out of automotive steel brake line. The questionable part is whether it will be strong enough to endure a very high speed roll.

on road took a spill in the dirt

The title "spill in the dirt" worries me. Please don't take any offense to this, but have you cleaned your air filter since the dirt? If so then lets continue. Since you have a pull-starter, What is your starting procedure? As long as you are positive that you don't have any leaks then you...

    excessive fuel out the exaust

This usually means that you are running your engine "rich". You should "lean" it out slowly and watch the temperature so that you dont "lean" it out to far.

on road took a spill in the dirt

The fuel that is spitting out of where the cooling head and case meet are not good. When you put the cooling head back on did you make sure that it was sitting flush on the case? if so did you tighten the head bolts down in a star pattern so that they were all even?

    removing fuel before storage

This means that the piston is at the bottom of the stroke. To find BDC take the glow plug out and turn the flywheel by hand, when the piston is all the way down, right before it comes back up thats BDC. Once you have it set there you can mark your flywheel with a sharpie or white out next to a...

    HPI RS4 3 evo+

The Evo+ comes with the rotostart. I bought my RS4 EVO with the roto starter, but it became a pain in the neck to have one more battery ready just to start the engine. Depennding on this can also cut a day of fun short. I have since switched to a pull starter and its a whole lot less of a...

    Stripped screw...

So you have stripped the head of the screw. Do you have a Dremel rotary tool? if so you can slot the head of the screw with a cut-off wheel and use a flathead screwdriver to safely remove it.

    Body Holes.

You can use something that will put a mark on the inside of the body. If you chalk up the body post and then line the body up it, should make enough of a mark. You can also try a bit of chewing gum but it may be a bit messy to clean up.

i need help engines won't start

A whistle noise? Did you look at the coil inside of the plug and see it glowing?
  17. F

    Body Holes.

Has the body already been painted? if not then you can just put it on the car and make sure everything looks even, then make marks with a sharpie of where to drill the holes.

    Compression.

you can loosen the glow plug, then once you have started the engine up tighten the glow plug back up.

I made a new friend (bird question)

I have one of those. its is pretty cool, if you do keep it then i recomend leaving it in a room with the radio on, it will pick up new words and maybe even parts to a song. the are very fun, but can become annoying.
