Thanks for all the input guys! Unfortunately It will be some time before I can buy a new truck. I spent more then the price of a revo on my wife's present this year so my toys have to wait! Thanks for all the fine tuning, I believe that is the truck I want to own. It will just have to...
Everywhere. I have access to dirt, gravel, and pavement. Total off and rock. Grass and pasture. Pretty much looking for something universal and dependable. The Revo looks great but itll come down to cost in the end.
So is the stock revo going to be on the taller side or a bit more squat? I'm looking to a shorter more truggie like monster truck as opposed to a MONSTER sized monster tuck.
the kindle fire is more like a tablet but its glossy and would be harder to read books on. the others have ink based text and really do look and feel like your reading out of a book!
Slowgreen, I have been to plenty of funerals, plenty of friends and family very close to me. The only ones I have ever cried at are the dogs.. I understand your pain. It may take a while but one day soon you will wake up and realize your ok! Its amazing how much those little guys influence our...
I like to give it about one more pull after I see fuel reach my carb. Also set the trim open a bit for a larger carb gap. Be ready to turn it back when the engine starts though! Also if you over prime and flood it (you know when it gets hard to pull). Take out your plug, flip your car, and pull...
Sounds great! I've been torn between guns and rc as far as expense goes! I was wondering about the aftershock actually! What did you think of it and what would you pay for it new?
Don't get me wrong. Right now I drive an exceed froza and have had great luck with it so far. I didn't want to buy from them again only because parts support. The product is fine, not the best, but I hear the 1/8 line is much better. It is fast and runs really strong. However you can't upgrade...
Looking to bash for sure, no racing for me. the revo does look great I just didn't want to say it so everyone doesn't jump on it. looking for all the opinions I can get! Without leading the way.
So I really like this truck.. I like it for its lower wider stance, large tires, and large engine. Problem is, its an Exceed Madstorm. Price, $220 for the .28. That's $250 to my door. I'm looking for suggestions for a 1/8 scale truck. I don't know to call the Madstorm a M/T or a truggie.. But...
I'm going to assume its new and not broken in just going off your title. If you set a 1mm gap on your carb, make sure you prim it well. after the fuel gets to the carb give it one more pull. if you flood it take out your plug, turn it upside down and pull it a few times. After its primed open...
So, I pulled it apart tonight and realized when the bolts loosened and were hot the manifold sank a bit. By this I mean the bolts going through the engine and holding the manifold on bent down... I did however put on the rtv and slapped it back together. Hopefully I didn't strip the manifold. I...
Dang, I don't know the brand I bought (cause I ran the can over...Yes when it was full). But I salvaged over 90% of it into a glass alc bottle that was very clean! Anyway It was 20% and about $22. Can was blue and recommended from my LHS as "Very good fuel." He said I didn't even need after run...
