    Transmission One Way C clip

Ok, I got it. In case anybody else comes across this thread with the problem here's how I did it. I started by trying to tuck one of the tabs (by the opening) under first and pulling the other side open and into place. That didn't work. Instead try tucking the part in the middle of the horseshoe...

    Transmission One Way C clip

No, it's not bent. I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to tell me to do with the flat part of the screwdriver. Right now I am trying to tuck one side of the clip under the groove it fits into and use the screwdriver to pry the other side open enough for it to pop into place but the clip...

    Transmission One Way C clip

Hey guys, did a quick search but couldn't find any posts on the topic. I need to change the transmission one way bearing. I got the tranny apart and removed the c clip that holds the bearing off. It wasn't easy but some twisting and prying managed to do the job. I put the new bearing in but I...

How to rewind the 2.5 P/S

Wouldn't making it shorter also make it stronger (more recoil tension), you're going to need to wind the spring further to make the same connection you would with a full length spring.

Hey Sky, In all your experience with pull starts have you found any ways to make the recoil spring stronger?

    One way bearing slipping

That post was years ago. ...and since then I have fixed this bearing hundreds of times. I have found the most effective way is with a hi pressure hose and hot water. I usually take the bearing out and bring it to a carwash. I pin it to the ground with the tip of the hose and blast water through...

    Stripped Screw Hole in Motor

Nice info. Thanks. Helicoils look exactly like the perfect fix for my problem. I'm in Canada so CA is a little far but I will look into this more because it looks like an excellent solution.

EZ start or pull start. What do you prefer and why?

EZ start or pull start. What do you prefer and why? If you have a pull start already, what are some of the things you dislike about pull starters? I am disliking my EZ start right now, but I don't want to spend money to go from one headache to another. Any opinions?

    Ariel broke in half?

After I open my receiver box (stock T Maxx 2.5), the wire runs to the underside of the green circut board before it is soldered to the board. There are no screws on the board but it is firmy stuck down to the bottom of the receiver case. I can't get at the base of the wire to replace it. Is...

    Hobby People, Recievers, and more...

I think my solution would be to bring the truck with me and not leave the store untill I was sorted out. It will still cost alot but at least you could get it done al at once. :P

How to get screwed in a race

A reply First, with all the calls in here for revenge, is there any wonder I couldn't be bothered to race. Most of you are so PO'ed and vengeful I wonder why you race at all. I am with the clean racers here. Pulling your funding to the leauge and supporting shops is the best offence to...

    @%#$&!* Bumper mount screws!

That GH bulkhead brace is nice. Are you running Al bulks? The hex heads will more than likely happen I am definately going to pick up that skid. It's a reasonable price and if it actually saves damage like posts claim, then it will pay for its self. You guys are awesome with the pics and...
