can you see through the ports when you slide the sleeve on the piston ? make sure the rings dont snag on the edge of the ports ...you might need to push the rings in a little ...
i had that happen to me before
did you remove the piston ?? some pistons only go one way ..is there an arrow on the top of it ? ... if yes ..it should point to the exhaust port ..
also , make sure its well lubricated when you try to put the sleeve back
let us know in a month or 2 how it goes ..( because thats probably how long it will take for the tool to get to you ) ..lol...but if you are lucky , you might get it in less than a month..i also have a 3.3 that will need a repinch soon ..or maybe i might try to bring my old wasp .26 back to...
The tool for the 3.3 is there ...i already put up the link for it ...and the clamp used in the video is basically the same thing as the tool..any other styles of clamps i would not see working...pretty sure someone with decent mechanic skills can get it done ...but i would not recommend it to...
here is one on ebay

here is a video i found of a guy who made one with a hardware store clamp and copper pipe
allot of people would not recommend...
ya ..probably your linkage that is not adjusted properly ..so when you hit the brakes your carb closes ..take the filter and look inside the carb ..nothing in there should move when you apply the brakes
one of my revos does the same ..but i lose complete control (steering and throttle ) havent found the problem yet ...its not the optidrive because its not in it......i figure its a bad servo somewhere
