i have a stock storm with the B01. I got an ofna hyper 8-port that is awesome for races and can be found for under 150. I switch the engines frequently. The B01 i use for stock races and it is among the best in that class. Its holds its own in the A-mains too. The one notable lack is in the...

The other option is to go for supershocks by racerx. I bought 4 for my 1/8th buggy and they work awesome for it. My friend runs them on his t-maxx with awesome results. I'm guessing a set of 4 or 8 would work for you. They are available at www.unlimitedengineering.com.
There is a new 17lbs monster truck out that was featured in rc car action this month. Its the CEN Genesis and because it is so heavy it has specially made heavy-duty shocks. If I were you i would look into getting them because they would work well with your heavier truck. I dont know if they...
One of my friends suggested to me that i take the part off and soak it in coca cola because it acts as a deruster. I'm going to try that before visiting the hardware store and trying a lefty bit or easy-out bit.
its actually this piece

the little screw that goes into the center of this piece.
I dont remember the technical term for it. But its the one that goes into the screw/nut that holds the wheels on. Theres a little set screw in the middle of the piece the wheel rests on and thats the one that is stuck cause i always forgot to clean it.
I'm working on my storm and have encountered a problem. One of the set screws has rusted to the point that i can't get it unscrewed. The allens that i have slip when i try to turn it. Right now I'm attempting to loosen it by soaking in wd-40, but i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for...
duratrax makes some decent accessories but their actual cars suck. If your looking to get into this hobby cheaply, maybe a 1/8th gas buggy isnt for you. Many other rc cars are cheaper and a lot of fun. Of course, the buggies are the fastest and most fun(except possibly monster trucks). If...
i just put in a big order at rc-nation.com. Its awesome for gs storm parts and options. I have owned a storm rtr for almost a year now, and it is still running awesome. If u dont have a hobby shop near you, get the storm.
The thing about a buggy is they are usually are faster than monster trucks. With the right tires, they can go almost anywhere. I ran my storm in a mud pit last weekend with paddle tires, now that was fun. Although cleaning was a b*tch.
I'm looking for a 1/10th scale onroad car that would have the option of gettimg a minicooper body. The car is a gift for a teacher that has shown interest in them and has helped us with a project for school. We have $300 to spend on it and it has to be almost completely RTR. I can paint the...
They may still be testing the avenger up against some of the other big name buggys. Also, does anyone know if the avenger will be compatible with the storm?
