I was actually about to order blue until I saw the purple and really fell in love with them. They look amazing in person. And yes WoodiE, the savage isn't hard to work on at all, it's just that traxxas trucks are extremely easy to rip apart and put back together.
Got in some goodies thanks to A-Main Hobbies. Was about to order blue RPM A-Arms but felt that the purple would fit an HPI better as many of the other aftermarket parts are purple. The wheelie bar was a must as well, I can't even tell you how many times i have already flipped it and then had to...
I have about 9 tanks through it so far, switched to the 30% Losi nitrotane the last 2 tanks and it is running a little cooler and definitely showing more performance. It's pretty hard keeping the front wheels on the ground. What's a good temperature range to stay around? The last 2 tanks with...
So you're saying this stuff would be better (30/8).

I've also been wondering why savages don't come with 17mm hex. Gonna have to invest in a conversion, as well as a dang...
I've been letting it cool down in between tanks. I'm done with the 4th tank now, about to start the 5th tank. I only bought a quart of this 20% fuel, and I've been hearing a lot about this bones brew stuff. Should I order this...
Thank you, i had an idea of what each tank should be but didnt want to mess anything up. Thanks for the advice.
So far I am going to order the HPI big bore shocks for it, and probably an ERCM exhaust. Well see where I go from there haha.

Ordered it from Tower Hobbies on saturday, and it showed up yesterday. It's my first nitro truck in over a year, and I'm really excited to get it broken in. Gonna start ordering stuff for it because my LHS stinks and doesn't really carry a lot of stuff for HPI...
Well, damn has it been a long long time since i've been active on these forums. I had sold the last of my r/c cars sometime last year and regretted it ever since. I've been pretty busy between work, senior year of high school, and being an 18 year old lol. But I am back, for now. The past week...

Hi, sorry I haven't replied, I have been busy the past couple of days. I'm not sure of exactly what will be needed to finish it, it's been sitting in my tool box for a while. The front bumper is there, and the rear bumper and mount are included as well. I know it needs pillow balls for the left...
I planned on finishing this build, but need money now to buy a car, so I'm putting RCs on hold for a while. Basically this was a conversion from my old Revo 3.3. It has a brand new transmission not even mounted on the chassis, and a few spare parts I never put on. I'll even throw in this freshly...

I have one on my front door, it works great. You can tell when the battery is getting low because the motor inside will sound very slow. I personally never had the problem of the battery dying, and being locked out. So all I can say is they work great.
