It's all pretty mundane poop and by law and contractual terms I'm not...
Is it because you have a shovel between the rifle and shotgun in the rifle rack mounted on the rear window of your 4x4?
That would scare the bejeezus out of anyone!
Ed sad to see the gang culture creeping in. We have it on the rock called England too!
As Joe Strummer from The Clash sang in...
The one part of this hobby I do hate is masking, painting, cutting/trimming shells and applying decals.
Due to my limited skills in the bodywork department I've always stuck to single colored bodyshells done with rattlecans
When I decided to enter the MaxBashing (UK RC Magazine and Track)...
I hear you dude!
The TM928 is what I term as my "Jester Engine" as it will wheelie out of corners, go down the high traction straights riding on the rear wheels and wing and tear down the 40 metre straight like a bullet (14T clutchbell) with the tires ballooned up like pizza cutters.
There...
Oooh nooo! Rain!
The Formula 1 guys do 180mph+ speeds in the wet with no fuss at all.
The fundamental difference is, F1 does weather development and has the needed wet weather tires. Even though they may only use them once or twice in a season, the teams all have a supply of wet weather...
Engines
I have two engines that I use in the Jammin' (HN) X1-CRT (not at the sime time.. of course)
First up in an RB WS7-II .21, with Vantage CF "top speed tuned" pipe.
In the RB tradition it has decent power, revs nicely and gives me nice top end speed with fairly good run times
I use...
TTR St1
Very popular in here the UK Lessen
Just as capable as the Jammin' in the right hands although there's room for improvement on the engine, nothing than an OS or RB cannot solve
The main complaint in the UK was lack of spares when it was first released. Also not too many aftermarket...

Very nice.
The photos are great and I can clearly see the Kyosho design team gave the Jammin'/HN X1-CRT a good looking over before going to the drawing board.
Tell me, does it ever get used or is it a shelfer? The reason I ask is because it looks brand new
Stuck!
Hunter,
The last photo is not my Land Rover, but that little TDi5 90 was stuck fast due to the bottom of that puddle being churned up by other Land Rovers, there was just no solid ground to provide any form of grip at all.
Mondo the mouth's contribution to the debacle

As an Admin/Mod on YourMicro.com I know how derogatory inter Forum bashing can be. It's counter productive.
I am also quite fussy about what Forums I visit. RCNT is definitely one of my firm favourites. The content...
Sun, dust & mud
Thanks guys.
Strangely enough Land Rover owners are very similar to RC guys, always looking for something to climb up, over or drive through. Do it first and think of the concenquences later.. as seen in this "it was a good idea at the time" photo. Note recovery rope en route...
Aaah..summer is here
In England we have this past time called "greenlaning"
This is where you jump into your Land Rover (or any lesser brand of 4x4) and cruise along the "public access" dirt roads that cover the entire country.
In fact you can travel across the entire country without using...
watched?
To be honest.. I don't give a poop if the NSA is watching me or not because I don't do anything wrong.
In a way I am glad the NSA is monitoring IPs especiallythe IPs those indivduals out there who are out do us wrong, to undermine democracy and threaten our freedoms in the name of the...
Great Thread! Now we know the origins of what has to be one of the best aerosol products on the planet.
When I was working as a doorman (bouncer) in a big club here in the UK, we had a major issue with the hop heads snorting coke on the tiles in the bathrooms.
One of the staff suggested we...
Stilts! Yea, stilts.. just to think of the fun you can have with a set of stilts.
You'll be able to see into all the neighbourhood yards and peek into the neighbours' upper windows. You could also make a fortune offering a "Roof leak early warning service"
If you should fall of them then you...
Valid points guys.
I've been to many an F1 grand prix and I've also watched a NASCAR event at the Talladega Super Speedway and from a spectator point of view, NASCAR cannot be beaten.
Another thing is the attitudes of drivers. F1 drivers rarely interact with the spectators. The F1 teams are...
Dogs
Three years ago my son's faithful old pitbull went to the great kennel in the sky. She died of old age. Not the brightest of dogs, but she was loyal, faithful and harmless to the family. She had a good innings at 15 years.
His mom decided to get another dog and came to the conclusion...
