I've ran/owned/own the 8ight-t, X1-CRT, X2-CRT, and the RC8T. I would say either the RC8T or the X2-CRT. I have not tried the new 8ight-t 2.0 but I bet it's sweet.
I am right by you. You should come race with us at my track. Been working on a crawler course too.
Soon as it warms up a bit we will be starting a league for fun and just the usual bash sessions.
I will actually be in Chico tomorrow.
With worm drive you also gain more clearance being there is no differential hanging down on your axels and more importantly, you can't stop a worm drive either. As long as it has power and traction it will climb till it's on it's lid. :D
I have 1:1 with worm drive and it will climb straight up...
The 3.3 was broke in just as Traxxas wants. Always ran great was easy to tune from factory and ran great. The Picco was pretty much too much power for the maxx. I only ran 2 tanks of nitro through the maxx with the picco in it. It was beastly!
I think I want to get this. Can I see a couple pics first. Maybe mounted on a truggy or setting next to it if you have one. I want it for my x1-crt if it will fit. What motor did you run with it?
Dude get a bigger desk. 3 24" monitors make for some fun gaming. I gotta get another matrox so I can go 3 24 screens again. Make for some awesome racing!
Good deal trading for a buggy too though! :D
Keep your eye out for the new Kyosho Crawler and the Venom Crawler. Both excellent choices other than the Axial or XTM.
The XTM is a super class cralwer (lot bigger) needs dual motors and two steering servos.
The Axial, Kyosho, Venom are all 2.2 class.
