When I rammed a curb at high speeds, only thing I broke was the head of a screw off at the mount. Fastlane's combo bulks are amazing... I guess I bash my aluminum truck too hard, but I have yet to bend anything. Although I have the 3.3 maxx, so its 4mm thick instead of the thinner ones.

It says on their site when you look at the actual chassis on how much it costs to replace. Wow actually it doesn't, but for the other things it seems to be about half price sometimes less. I would imagine somewhere around 40+shipping...

Well since everyone else has stolen your thread, I'll throw out a post to help along with the spur and clutchbell. If you upgrade to a 3.3, lighten it some, put a large clutchbell and small spur on it. I would imagine it would go quite quickly. I know jato's pretty much fly with the 3.3 even stock.

I thought the opti-drive had a built in fail safe?

Haven't people installed the gear box in reverse before? So a FOC truck would only go reverse? I have heard that quite a few times...

I have not tried to fit them on stock rims, I have them on some pretty big rims. They actually came with a t-maxx that I got along with 2 sets of stockers. The rims are bigger than my 3.3's rims and tires no doubt.

I have big joes on my t-maxx and it works great, doesn't bottom out as much from added height, plus they are wider so it doesn't want to roll. BTW my t-maxx is SUPER heavy, tons of aluminum with a os21tm to push it all.

You probally put the diff in backwards, happens often.

It was $400 after tax when I got it. I think I'll just wait on the big block kit, I'm looking at buying a brushless lipo rustler and maybe a 3.3 jato too so I have enough speed :P

I was just wondering, i already have a 3.3 t-maxx with a os21tm. I found a .21 ofna for $75 from an 1/8 buggy just wondering if I could throw it in since my driveline is already macked out.

Well its more than $300, but it comes with stock esc, motor, 6 cell batt, 7 cell batt and street and off road rims/tires. It might come with other stock parts also, whatever he can find. He wants an extra 50 for the 50amp power supply and he said it is normally like 500 new but i dont really...

Would I beable to use the tmaxx ofna mount to install a .21 ofna engine into my t-maxx? Sorry for stealing your thread.

I just talked to him again today and he said he was not planning on including the power supply for the ice charger, because his is a 50amp and was expensive he said.

So noone else has any opinion on how much this rustler is worth? I need to find out what else comes with it since it is the older rustler, its gotta have more. Is that the VXL motor or a different motor? I know its the vxl esc.

Have any pictures of the extras included? Have any idea of cost for the replacement parts needed? I would love to have a buggy....

It shouldnt be moving. thats why its a ONE WAY bearing. if you spin it the other way it just spins freely instead of locking.
