I run the springs that came with the big bores, the ultra shock springs didn't fit properly and the big bores 4x4 slash springs felt stiffer. I'm still on 30wt, but my stampede isn't much heavier than stock just bigger tires/wheels.

Yeah it has one. And almost positive the HR servo saver will fit.

HR Servo Saver May work. Haven’t tried it on my stampede yet though, but I do have one from my Clodbuster and they can take a beating.

Is it loose side to side, or does it pull in and out? Is this a new or well used kit? May be best to disassemble the transmission case and check out internal gears and bearings. It might be a bearing failure causing play in that shaft.
