I pulled the shocks and found out they were nearly out of oil. So I added oil and noticed the springs were sacked, so I pulled them out nearly double in length. The front is now perfect and the back is much better, thanks guys! Now if I could only get it to start and run?
I found out the problem, it was the plastic servo arm was stripped out. These arms are really weak and need to be replaced as soon as possible. I stripped out the right arm and was making great left turns, but right was way right and very frustrating. I have now put an aluminum arm on a Hi-Tech...
I am having a horrible time with my radio as the steering and throttle are not working right. It only turns a little bit and I checked the front end not hooked up and it is fine. I also put in a new Hi-Tech servo and same thing. So I am guessing I messed up the reciever somehow(jumps!) What can...
I wish I could run that good with the truggies!!!!!! Middle of the pack would be great!! I have added tires and am trying to get the handling sorted out, so I need to be patient, arrgh!
That was awesome and way too much info to absorb quickly. I will need to go over it for some time! Is the Picco carb easier to tune? How much for a new one?
I am tryinmg to get my Revo setup for the track and have been reading the manual and it mentions a lot of adjustments that are necessay to race by lowering the vehicle. I want to get my vehicle ready for the track so I will not get totally blown away by the truggies. It mentions mounting the...
Buy a luggage cart that folds up and get some plastic containers, the big ones at wally world, and strap them on. The bigger the tires the better. Put the heavy stuff on the bottom, and lighter stuff on the top. You could modify a golf pull cart also. Those tires would definetely work.
It is a very short distance north of Hendersonville, about 12 miles, and wait till you see that triple! They really put together a first class event, and the staff is so friendly. This is a race neighborhood as the full size track is very close by, they like their racing here. Some of the folks...
I know its a no-no, but I used reverse to practice with on the race track, and nobody said anything. I did not try to race with it as that would be trouble.
I went to the track, 65 miles away. That is a long drive, so it will be every other week at most. I stunk and looked horrible trying to go around the track, I had no idea it was this hard!!!! I used the stock tires and that does not work on loose clay. I found a set of used tires that are in...
The Revo is tough as I have done some really stupid stuff and it holds up well. Concrete, trees, no problem. If you really want to style, pick up a platinum revo, but for bashing you need reverse.
I was looking for an electric roller, but I am now getting into monmster truck series racing starting the sat. and funds will go the that. I will need to get some sort of electric roller for the winter races later on.
I am trying to get my ride ready and I double-nutted the axle to keep the tires from coming off. I worked on tuning and this revo likes it on the rich side. I plan on getting the engined tuned up and work on cornering the rest of the week. Even my neighbors want to go and watch. I am bringing 2...
Well, competitive or not I dropped the ride height to get it ready for my first race this Saturday. I am very nervous and know not to expect to much. It can't be any worse than my golf game lately! I got some medium heat plugs and need to lean it out some more. I am also having a hard time...
