is that novak system tuneable? if you can tune it like the mamba or sidewinder, you can offset your heavy throttle finger. that will let you hae that BL speed and power, but no spinouts.
its kind of a preference when it comes to BL or BR setups. if your racing and your consistant with the brushed then stay with it. but if you can get a feel for your brushless you might be surprised at what you can do. as for shock setups. change things around. if you like your RTR springs, try...

The little bro just got his today. with a 8.4v 3300 mah 7 cell ni-mh this thing hauls! its almost uncontrollable on the road but sticks like glue on dirt. my only complaint is how easy it traction rolled on pave. that might change with a little wear on the tires.
I havent had a chance to run it yet, but my little brother is getting one for his B-day. I pulled it out of the box to replace tha battery connectors and the thing looks pretty nice.
