lip on fuel inlet direction on OS18TZ question?

I am in the process of changing the bearings on my OS18TZ. I would like to confirm the direction that the fuel inlet goes on. There is a lip see attached photo (red line) on one end which I am assuming goes on the bottom but not 100% could someone confirm this.
