Looks good man! I ran a dual tank setup for awhile also on my 4.6 mgt. May be hard to believe but the .32 LRP is easier on fuel than the 8.0 and the 4.6 truck. Also I was reading that those Traxxas hubs didn't work. I am running the Integy ones that are made for the maxx series trucks and they have held up great and work perfect. I can locate a part number if you want.

My MGT 8.0 Rig that i started....tell me what yall think

did the tmaxx adapters work on the 4.6 or other model,i tried them off my tmaxx and they didnt work?Instead i have 40 series with big joes.

Hey I know this is an old thread but thought I would say very nice. I just picked up a nice mgt 8.0 and I don't like the 8.0 engine either. Planning on going with a Lrp 30 myself. Do you have any videos of that modded Lrp 32 in the mgt?

I would go with the Lrp.30 I've ran both in my mgt, and my .30x seems to perform better.
Better than the .32? I am a lrp guy myself. I have owned a lot of the lrp 30 and 28. actually was able to get some good run time on my mgt yesterday and I was able to get the .50 tuned in pretty decent, but I think I may have a leak in my fuel tank. Is this common? I have sealed the carb and back plate on the engine, and I am not new to nitro been dealing with nitro for 15 years but this mgt has been harder then all my other trucks to tune. I was able to get 3 tanks through it and it has good power, my only concern for the tank is when I come to an idle it starts to do the chew baca sound and I don't like that. Thought the low speed was lean but when I checked the sound after a few high speed passes the idle drops right down immediately but as soon as I stop and let it idle for more then 3-5 seconds, the idle starts to come up making it sound lean. Could this be my tank?

My mgt 8.0-

The MGT has a ad habbit of the internal fuel line inside tank either splitting or disconnecting. I would check that first. I have had all three of my Mgt's do this causing leaning issues.
