WOW! There went my budget lol! Ordered my Ofna fuel tank my #4907 steering bell crank and a brand new full set of 3.8 Proline Badlands 17mm hex hub Awesome !Been wanting a set of badlands for awhile now. Just need a body and my steering servo prob gonna be awhile LOL!

Yup, it doesn't take long to destroy a budget!
Your gonna like the Badlands, they have some incredible grip to them.

Yah I went with the badlands so I can run them on several of my rigs. Glad to hear they grip nicely!

Well some parts are rolling in finally. My pipe came in so I worked on getting it installed. Decided to fire it up tonight just to see how it sounded. It's got pretty good crack to it for a SB. Think I may still put some funds aside later for an actual ERCM SB pipe though. I feel like I hit the jackpot this xmas my wife surprised me with a brand new set of Proline trencher X's on despo 1/2inch offset wheels for another build that will happen later this winter. Going to get pics up later tonight I hope once I figure out the wifes new HD Digital camera.

It sounds like it's coming along nicely, I'm looking forward to some pics. I just ordered a set of 2.8 Badlands for my Rusty (and other 1/10 scales), I ripped one of my Trenchers on my last outing.

Well I've been really busy with work so it took me a bit to get the pics of the progress so far. I got a lot of parts in today so decided to spin some wrench's LOL!

None of that shelf queen BS either only aluminum on this truck not stock is shock towers and bumpers and servo mounts. This truck gets beat hard on a regular basis.

Well I finished the rebuild late Saturday night, so I spent most of today running and adjusting it in. I also worked on a pipe comparison test today. I tried a variation of three different pipes. First I ran the Mac's pipe second a Sirio big bore pipe third a Traxxas res tuned pipe. I ran a full tank with each pipe on after I found the best tune for each. The Mac's pipe seemed to have the smoothest power but the Traxxas res pipe seemed to best all in top speed. Also the Mac's pipe seemed to be the easiest to find the best performing tune with. I had to drop my gearing back to where I was before found that the 22t clutch bell and 54T spur was a tad to high running the Proline Badlands guess because of the added weight and height increase. I really like those Badlands though.

Those badlands are bad ass aren't they man....what's new bro?glad to see ya buddy

Work mainly hotrod but you know how that is. That and wrenching on all the local nitro guys rigs. My buddy dropped off an Mgt 3.0 and another #4910 maxx last night for me to tear down and go through, and that mini mgt is pretty rough. I've got this patch's project bought wrapped up finally. Plus I am still waiting on another buddy to bring me his revo and a BB maxx to finish up. Not complaining though they pay me for it plus I got 2 gallons of Odonell's 20% given to me last night for going through these rigs.

i hear ya brother,....i actually switched to odonnels 20% a while back, gave me a wider tuning curve and cooler temps, seems to smell better than most others have you noticed that?.....i scored my paid winter vacation and am getting around to fixin up a few rigs,i bought a 2001 cherokee in early summer that I've been cheating on rc with, lol ..........everyone up here is running electrics bro,I'm one of a handfull it seems thats keeping it all going for nitro

Yah I tell yah Hotrod works got me running non stop right now. Plus with what's left of the local nitro guys bringing there rigs in for me to help them keep them running hasn't left me much time for my other projects. I'm hoping to finish getting my old fox mustang back onto the road or at least road worthy by spring. Pretty much sold off all of my motorcycle collection due to not enough time to enjoy them and a buddy getting hurt real bad in a crash. I got a 6 year old so I gotta be around as long as possible. So far of what I have ran I really like the Odonnels 20% fuel. Only thing I can get at the LHS here is Losi Nitrotane which I have ran with no real issue's.

I'm not a found,on,road, dead guy..lol........but id turn wrenches with ya on it bro if i could...as the name states i may have run a hotrod or two, lost my license many a time and never will again man,so after some years decided to stay slow and wheel a bit, just as much fun or maybe more, idk

Final results. Got a couple tanks ran through it this weekend.

Thanks Rolex! Unfortunate that body is no longer that nice LOL! After my weekend jump session it took a good beating.

You should NEVER use a good looking body for hard bashing.
Like you, you should NEVER get angry when you're wearing nice clothes. :D

Hulk smash, lol....looks good buddy.....you Cuda put a rear bumper on the front to match the body line better

Thanks guys. It runs out pretty good. I think the old Picco is starting to show some wear though. But holy crap it should been on it forever. Oh and thanks for the tip Rolex. I've since switched to sweat pants LOL!
