my friend has a team infinity monster truck and we can't figure out how to secure the carbuerator to the engine. Seems like just a friction fit. Also dont even know what kind/model it is. Its at least 10 years old.

Most Engines have a screw that is tightened in a sleeve that has an indent so it pulls onto the body of the carb.. If its not an indented sleeve then it will be a screw with the same indentation and a nut on the end that works the same way. You slide the sleeve/screw in first making sure the indentations are lined up with the blocks opening for the carb, press the carb in, its meant to be a fairly tight fit, then you tighten the screw/nut to "pinch" the carby in place...

but please do not over tighten it as it can crack the block that the carb rides in, it is usually just cast metal.
