XRAY has released a one piece engine mount for XRAY XB808. The XRAY engine mount is CNC-machined from premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum then hardcoated for extra durability and long life. Ultra-strong construction provides very long life and durability in even the most extreme racing conditions.

The XRAY 1-peice engine mount mounting system consists of two components: an adjustable base (which is affixed to the chassis), and a pair of upper mounts (which stay attached to the engine crankcase) that key to the base. This enables the engine to be mounted and dismounted each time without needing to readjust gear mesh.

The Axial 28RR Spec 1 is a .28 cubic inch big block engine featuring a machined cast aluminum heat-sink head for extra cooling, dual bushing aluminum connecting rod, true ABC chrome sleeve construction for durability, and a three needle 9.0mm slide carburetor (including 8.0 & 8.5mm optional venturi’s) with a composite body for better performance at higher temperatures. The carburetor on the Axial 28RR features a factory re-set line on the high speed needle, and flush needles making re-setting, to baseline factory specifications, quick and easy. There is also an optional Axial Turbo Button head available.

The Axial 28RR Spec 1 is a direct bolt-in replacement engine for any .21+ engine mount, and will accept most after-market shaft drive starting systems.

The new Sirio EVO III line of engines feature a new crankcase to increase flow to the combustion chamber. Port timing and induction timing have been changed to increase torque and driveability. The result is an engine with tons of dirveable power and it’s easy to tune. The Sirio EVO III STI engines have all the “extra” touches that a true “team” engine has and they are now available to the public.

The high-density foam captures the smallest particles to keep your engine in top condition, yet it allows plenty of airflow so the engine can produce maximum power. The angular cut of the Kyosho high grade air filter foam pre-filter creates more surface area, which means the engine will breathe well even when other filters begin to compromise performance.

A molded rubber elbow, filter housing and durable metal inner cage are included. The end of the filter housing even features a mounting lug, so the assembled filter is better supported, which keeps it firmly attached to the engine where it belongs.

Jammin Products from Ofna has just introduced two new nitro engines. A .21 (51250) and a .28 (51251) engine. Jammin has paid close attention to the details that are so important for off-road R/C racing. Such as durability, ease of tuning, and driveabilty. RC Hardware.

How many times have you read tuning advice that would suggest richening or leaning your high-speed needle by 1/8 turn or better yet “1 hour”? Sometimes it takes practice to really get the hang of what that means. And how many times have you been adjusting your carb and realized that it was running better at a previous setting?
